The September issue of Rebel Ink is out and our own Mandy has a an impressive 7 page spread.  We're incredibly proud of Mandy and the way she's grown thru her apprenticeship into a very promising young tattoo artist and this article is a great example of why we would feel that way.
The photos of Mandy in this article were taken by the amazingly talented Robin Souma.  We think she's made Mandy look way more bad ass then Pink, who graces the magazine's cover.

Visionary Tattoo Arts Festival

Congratulations to Stacy and Jim for winning awards at last weekend's Baltimore Tattoo Arts Convention during one of the area's worse snow storms in years!

As a couple of feet of snow piled up outside, Stacy took both 1st and 2nd place for Best Female XL Color for her beautiful work on the fabulous Dale and Jim got 2nd place for Most Unusual with Mandy's truly awesome Fetal Chicken Skull tattoo.

The blizzard didn't stop anyone from having a wonderful time. If the snow prevented you from attending this year, you can try to catch us at the Philadelphia show at the end of March.

Baltimore Tattoo Arts Convention

Jim and Mandy will have a Chrome Gardens booth at the Baltimore Tattoo Arts Convention Feb 5th-7th 2010. Jim has appointments open for the weekend still, so if you'd like to get tattooed at the convention just contact the studio and we will get you set up!

This convention is close enough to our general area that if you haven't had a chance to attend a Tattoo Convention, this would definitely be one to catch. Tattoo Contests, Suspension Acts and a Burlesque Show... what more could you need for a good time!

Closed for the Holidays

Chrome Gardens will be Closed for the Holidays from Thurs Dec 24, 2009 until Tues Jan 5, 2010. We will be checking phone messages and emails over that time, if you need to contact us for any reason. Emails would be checked more frequently then phone messages.

All of us here at Chrome Gardens would like to wish our clients and friends a wonderful holiday season!! Remember that winter months can be very drying to your skin and your tattoo, so moisturize every day to keep your colors bright.
